Heartwines is a project that utilises enthusiastic non-interventionist winemakers, using locally grown fruit to make small and unique batches of hand-made wines. Tessa Brown is the Pinot Gris + 3 and La Biche Fiano queen, Peter Fraser slaves over the old organically grown bush-vines to make Danger Shiraz, Archie Grenache and Ruby Rosé and Mark Kelly makes a flavoursome, yet restrained and mineral Beechworth Chardonnay grown on granite.
